Lens board problem with Omega D5500

    Question about Omega D5500.

I have a Rodagon 135mm and 50mm lens both attached to lens boards. I tried to unmount the 135mm and place an 80mm Nikon to print Medium format. The lens seems to be permanently attached. Now there is some play (looseness) of the lens/board combo.

Can this lens be removed, if not, how do I retighten it? My Durst M67 allows me to simply unscrew the enlarging lens.

    Thanks.

Not sure about your set up, but my Rodagons use 39mm Jam Nuts to hold them on lens boards. If you have not done so check the back of the board and see if there is a flat ring screwed on the lens threads.

    Good luck solving the problem,

    Ben

Oh, that makes sense. I probably should just get another lens board and lens.

    Thank you Ben.
