I use the following on Android:

Shutter-Speed tester (with photo diode gadget). I use some rather old shutters, it picked up a few problems.

Film Crop Assistant. Not much use with wide angle lenses (field of view bigger than the screen), but sometimes sort of useful.

I'm not a Luddite, but I use very few apps for photography. Reciprocity gets tested and printed on charts and goes into my notebook; same with bellows extension, filter factors, etc. I prefer my 1° spot meter to any of the metering apps I have seen (although I do have one that lives on my phone just in case). I use a viewing filter for framing/composing that's a lot more convenient that any viewfinder app.

I do like Lukas Fritz's "Shutter Speed" and use it to check my shutters every few months. I also have an app called simply "Moon" that will give me the phase of the moon and a compass bearing and time for moonrise and moonset that I use. It has saved me from having to get up too early several times

    Best,

    Doremus

I also use the Mark II Veiwfinder app. I find it useful in deciding which lens to use and a rough idea of composition. I can only hope my techno- widget use (apps, camera, light meter) has not destroyed what ever chance I had in making a expressive image.

The viewfinder app seems interesting, but from I understand, you need additional wide angle converter for the iPhone?

With the Mark II Viewfinder set for a 4x5 camera, the widest lens I can put in is 125mm. Any wider and I need to add a wide angle converter to the phone.

Me too, which doesn't exclude useful apps or nasty things like "digital" light meters in my universe.

Reciprocity timer is the one app I use the most for my art. Email and phone are the ones most useful in my photo business as they allow me to stay in touch with clients while I play hookie from the commercial photography and work on my art.
    Thanks,
