Hello,
I routinely use a 240 G Claron for enlarging 8x10 negatives and have good results with it. Does anyone know what the shortest length that I can use for enlarging 5x7 negatives. I have a 180 Componon and have been using it for my 5x7 but under my peak focuser the Componon seems to have some focus shift from the center to the edges at the wider aperatures and the G-Claron seems substantially sharper without any focus shift. I am making some large prints and would like to use the shortest lens possible. Any other suggestions are welcome.
Thanks
