June 2011 Portraits

Two pictures of Sasha. Foma/Arista.edu 400, XTOL, Chromega Drum and rotary processor, Fuji 150mm lens, Toyo 4x5. Split toning in Lightroom.

Very nice photos. I like the dark tones in the first one, but the second photo is a nice outdoor composition. Perhaps it's the scanning choice or monitor calibration issue, but a tiny hint of extra shadow detail would make a nice improvement.

Thanks! I just replaced them with updated versions...a little more shadow detail in the bottom. The scans are not amazing, in retrospect. I think I have some newtonian rings in the background of the interior shot.
