Speed graphic, 127 optar at f8, 1/10sec on arista/fomapan 100 4x5 film. Developed in pyrocat-hd. No filter; I like what this film does for freckles!

Some shots behind the scene here with Jim last weekend for my family portrait shot. Here's a scan from a 20x24 neg was taken with the 550 XXL Fine Art Lens. Again, thanks to Jim for joining us!

Tri, the negative will make an awesome print. Boy was it nice looking through that huge camera and lens. It was nice using the 14x17 to do your family portrait. Keep up the great work. I'll have your carbon family portrait done in a while! Sabrina is looking so grown up now!

    Jim and Tri

thanks for sharing! I've never seen these cameras together, nor a 20x24" scan.

    Excellent David.

She looks like every guy's ideal schoolteacher !!!

The light is very subtle and really suits the mood.

    Hi Jim,
Time to order more Gelatin . It's nice to see a Carbon Portrait Print as usual, especially In Camera Negative contact print with home made carbon tisuue.
Hugo, we do used single element on the Eidoscope for this shot. You have to see this once is printed.

It's probably a year since I got my LF gear out, moved to a new country and have been mostly shooting 6x6 again. But I have four volunteers to sit for portraits in a couple of weeks, so dug out the Speed Graphic and took some pictures of my other half to make sure it still works...

Thanks everyone for the feedback! I like it more now that you all liked it!

Nicki is a very nice young woman is planning on being a teacher. And like you said, that class will be lucky (in more ways than one)!

I will hopefully be doing more work with her in the next few months...
