All kinds of leaves colonize this Big Leaf Maple.

Ivy on the trunk, plus ferns (and mosses) on the snaky-limb.

Not the Amazonian jungle, but a rainy Seattle park.

I like the images, and without the black film edge. I think it interferes with the subtlety of lighting, and other silent nuances you have captured.

Thanks for the kind observation, Ken.

It was a silent moment indeed, no breeze, only gentle drops of rain, tapping the forest floor.

    Re: Just Leaves

Just a lot of leaves, some in a variety of dry but sun-dappled Midwestern autumn colors. Getting acquainted with a newly acquired Nikkor SW 120/8 on Astia 100F on a Canham 8x10. Not much art, but the sunlight (rare in these parts that time of year), film and lens helped in a time when talent, and experience with the new glass may have been lacking. The 120mm FOV does appear to do some nice things for 8x10, if you like your wide wider.
