This is a fantastic image! That said, I have a question, you say this is Tri-X 400, but I was recently told this was never made in 4x5 sheet?

    Thanks for clarification.

    EOTS.

Regards and thanks for the good comment. 100VS I rate normally. I have found different lenses will give me slightly different exposure and will adjust accordingly. The 90 Nikkor F8, I must add 1/3 additional exposure to obtain correct results. With my other lenses, no change.

Please keep sharing your images. They are great.

    Thank you !
that's right, there is no tri-x 400 in 4x5, I used roll film with a roll film back.

Thanks! Does that count as LF landscape since it's only 6x7? Or is it about the camera body? I'm not criticizing I'm asking because I don't know.

It is "Lardium" or "Merge" format, i also don't know what i can call it, but i think it is medium format because it is about the film at the end, so if it is on roll 6x6 or even 6x17 it is medium format but was using large format gear.

Hmm I was thinking that 6x12 or 6x17 would count as LF since it spans at least one direction "largely" lol.

    It's a good compromise right?

I am going to buy a 617 format camera later, i would like to do some panos, wish if i have 5x7 or 8x10 then i can use a roll back of 6x17, i don't want to buy 4x10 LF then get 6x17 bcuz this will cost me more than just a body of 6x17 format.

I don't care what type of Back was on it. It was shot with a Chamonix 45N1 using a Schneider Symmar 135/5.6 and for me, that's Large Format.
