Photostock 2013
Harbor Springs/Good Hart/Cross Village, Michigan
June 20 - 23
Ditch the kids and pack up the car, it's time again for Photostock! A long, warm, mid-summer's day is sounding pretty good about now and it is never too early to start planning the party. I can tell people are looking forward as the Birchwood Inn tells me a healthy number of rooms have already been booked. Click on the link and book early. As always, mention Photostock and you'll get a good rate.
Polymer Photogravure Workshop w/Clay Harmon
One thing that is already confirmed is a visit from the one and only, Mr. Clay Harmon. Clay is going to be teaching a workshop in Polymer Photogravure in conjunction with the gathering, but it will start prior to the gang arriving. No need to mess up a good party by having to go to school. His workshop will be starting on Monday the 17th and going through to Wednesday the 19th. This way we'll be all clear by the time everyone arrives. There will be more on this later and registration will be open soon, but if you would like to reserve a spot, you can do it HERE. Be aware that there will be 6 spaces available and a deposit will be required at a later time in order to secure your place. Registration will be on a first come basis and those that signify interest now will be given first choice.
Call for Presentations
I'm working on a surprise guest or 2 for this year, but as always, I'd also like to open presentations to all of you that are planning to come. If you have anything in mind ranging from a demonstration to a presentation of your work or specific project, let me know and I will fit you into the schedule. It's a great way to practice your presentation skills among friends. If interested, you can contact me via the form found HERE.
I'm beginning to set-up the website for this year as we speak, but it is only in rough form so far. You can now either use www.photostock2013.com. There will be a lot added as I convert the old site over to a Wordpress format, so stay tuned.
That's all for now, folks! I hope you all can come and have some more fun in the north!
