    yes sir ,but it's very easy to protect a lens ,inside the jacket ,with a condom also,a good filter un the front ,etc...and a tube caps ,http://www.wehmancamera.com/snowcamera.jpg
    have a look of vinny walsh and maybe you think that you can do it with your chamonix but for me I don't want to taste .

    yes i've saw the walker but the walker 810 is made for large angle isn't it?
    But the walker seem to be very good also .

    There are so many 8x10's . . .

    What are you trying to photograph? Will you use this camera just for this project, or will you continue to use it later on?

    What are the adverse conditions to which you allude?

    What about a teak chamonix. They cover boats with teak - it should be able to withstand some bad weather

    Definitely not "all metal except for such things as lens boards." There is a lot of composite material and even some wood on the back.

    I purchased my Wehman used off Ebay for $1,500.00. I saw where a few others sold on Ebay and this forum for around the same price. They don't come up for sale often.

    Hi badass man ,maybe tomorrow you can have somethink to sell....
    thanks Miguel Curdelo i go to have a look to Wilderness ,it can be a very good solution.
    the wood used in the wehman seem to be not reel wood but a composite who can't be affect by water, and choc.
