    wehman field camera

I owned (and sold here last year) a Wehman. They are great cameras and very durable, but as a point of clarification, they are not all metal.

Hope you find one, you will love it.

If you want an "all metal" camera, you might want to look at the Kodak Master 8x10 camera. It is also usually referred to as the "KMV" or Kodak Master View. Long out of production but 4-5 or so usually show up for sale per year on eBay and elsewhere on the web.

I have one, and really enjoy using it. I bought it for the same reason you have mentioned, being that its all metal.

I have a Wehman - it's all metal except for such things as lens boards, etc. Unfortunately, Wehman ceased manufacture a year or so ago.

    Re: wehman field camera

The idea that a can make me about this camera it's a very good tool ,you think like me?
most of guy said me that i better take a chamonix 8x10 ,but for me that type of camera are so nice for my use .
and i'm not sure that they support bad condition to make picture, but when I saw the wehman camera i was certain that it's very strong and making for can working all the days bad or good meteo.
I said true or my first idea is wrong?

If conditions are that bad, I'd be concerned for my lenses before I worried about a Chamonix/timber camera.
