since you asked.. And keep in mind - there are many schools and many choices.. Personally i'd turn her head and shoulders a bit. There is no reason for being dead centered and also if she would turn a bit towards it - light would fill up face a bit better. And unless you were going for helpless child look "i am kid, you adult, i loose, you win" - moving camera point a bit down might be good choice. But then its just me
Thanks i almost cursed myself for not bringing Ektachrome sheet for that sitting, b/c it would look great in proper colour.. But oh well.. Originally we were to shoot b&w , so just had to roll (i honestly offered to shoot it with velvia, but it didnt feel right, so we didn't go for it).
It is perfect as it is. The strengh of the image comes from the pose and the way it was lit. Having her turn her head would defeat the purpouse and turn it into something completely different (which would still be nice).
The out of focus area in the bottom bothers me though along with the fact that it seems to be losing density.
It is a fantastic portrait. I hate cropping but in this case I would above the elbows.
Thank you, Kevin.
I can honestly say that i do spend more time cleaning up dust and speckles than actually retouching image itself.
However, yes, i do spend between 15 minutes to hour, when work with portraits, to get things a bit cleaned up. Good lighting modifiers help a lot, and i always do take few digital polaroid shots before getting film shot, to make sure that i got angles right, pores a not showing up too much (when its regular portrait). 3D airbrushed look, specially for web, is actually not that hard to make, when working with strobes. I always set up light for very specific pose (when i am shooting my own stuff, and have somewhat unlimited time), sometime irritating hell out of people, b.c they would move like a feet out, and i would run around, moving and tweaking things again
In this case i am not super happy with how some of light spilled through hair onto face from two sources on the right, making uneven spots on her face. Might come back to do more retouching on it.

Warm tones, very soft pleasant image !
Like an interlude...
D-tach, nice image. The intent pose and soft effect work well together.
