    Jobo is making new drums, and as lachlan said - you can get them, brand new, in the US.
    They are pricey because each of them is hand crafted.

    CatLABS is the exclusive distributor of Jobo analog products for the US market.
    Jobo analog products are and will be available from various resellers in the US.

    CatLABS is also an official Jobo service station for all Jobo machines, including the new CPP3 and its warranty service.

    Actually, I made no mention of them being in the US. The ones that I am referring to are not.

    yeah, warranty service like that lift handle that's going to break the first time you make the mistake of using it with a drum attached!

    What drums are you referring to that are not in the US?

    More then that - in a few weeks time the entire Jobo analog lineup of products will be on hand in regular stock in the US.
    I'm really not sure what this has got to do with what I posted. I didn't mention the US; that's your comment.

    I don't doubt that these are available in the US. Nor do I doubt that I can get them much cheaper elsewhere.

    For what it's worth, I don't really appreciate my posts being associated with you promoting your business, albeit surreptitiously.

    Lachlan, I guess this was a misunderstanding on my part, sorry for hijacking your posts the intent was purely informational.

    @Lachlan/Koh

    Maybe if you showed your locations in your profiles it would be easier to guess whether you were referring to the US or not. This is a general gripe I have. I think everyone should at least show what part of the world they're in - to the nearest continent or country would be fine. Even Koh - after all a lot of people might think that the JP in Catlabs JP meant Japan as it does in internet addresses. And Koh could well be a Japanese name instead of your initials.:<))

    $500 new for a 3010? Just crazy.

    I hate to say it, but in China I think they could make one for $5.

    Have they been making expert drums all along? I didn't realize you could buy new ones.
