Sekonic L-508 or Minolta IV F + Minolta Spotmeter M

I have a Minolta IV F Flash Meter, which I love for incident metering, but I'm finding the need for a spot meter.

I'm trying to decide on adding a Minolta Spotmeter M or selling off the Minolta IV F and getting a Sekonic L-508 so that I can carry just one device for both.

Any opinions on the Sekonic L-508 vs the Minolta meters for either spot or incident metering? From what I can tell, they are about on par.

I've used the IVf exclusively for about 15 years, just incident metering, and I've never seen the need for another meter of any type.
I am not a Zone System practitioner, that's where the spot metering would come into play.

If you need a 1deg spot meter, then the sekonics are nice.

Just an FYI, Minolta made a 5deg spot attachment for the IVf meter, to use in place of the white dome.

Don't know the model # exactly, but might be worth checking out if you can work with 5deg spot metering vs 1deg.
