    Minolta meter help

I have a minolta 1VF meter that seems to have frozen up. I put a new battery in it and it stays on the start up view i.e time 60, iso100,ambi.
None of the buttons do anything, it wont turn off unless i remove the battery and it wont auto power down after 10 mins

Does any one have any ideas or is it dead

    Many thanks in advance

Do you have the instructions? There may be a reset procedure described. Good luck.

Check the battery contacts for corrosion also.

It sounds as though one of your keys is stuck in the down position.
This would create the symptoms you described.

With the battery removed, firmly press then release each key.
Do this a couple of times, then reinstall the battery.

It's also possible the keypad has developed a problem that would require replacement.
