December portraits

Wonderful concept for a project, as well as a wonderful image of Becky. (Yes, she has a "nice smile," and also a "nice cat!" I like cats. But I digress...) Please post more images from the project, if you don't mind, along with the brief explanation of why you chose them. There is something about your idea of finding goddesses (or gods) in modern society that really resonates with me.

May Fung is a consultant(qualities of learning) in an art school called School of Creativity. Hong Kong education is very competitive that make many students unhappy. May try her best to maintain a free and happy learning environment in the school and she wish her students can love arts and culture no matter they become artists or not.

KWONG Siu Mei manage a small food stall where I always go to have lunch. I found that she push a heavy cart of lunch boxes to a school everyday to serve the students.

Sze Lai Shan is a social worker who run a center to help the poor new immigrants from China.

Bella is a teacher who work in a Christian service center in an island to help some recovering (from drug addiction) girls to go back the society.

bobpin, again I am loving these portraits. Great idea and execution. An excellent way to pay tribute to these people, and recognize them for their contributions.

Thank you Jim, I was "poisoned" by you few years ago when I saw your photos. This series of photos were taken by a Hermagis ~300mm f4 Petzval lens.
