    He got a lot of attention, and lots of criticism, too, but I believe it was a calculated decision.
    I mean, it's a sexy subject, ripe for polarization and stirring up trouble (which he freely admits).
    It did get him a lot of work and press, though.
    You always get criticized for showing the truth.

    I knew a couple people who were crack addicts. One kicked it and the other died. It's very sad. If more people saw the truth about crack then hopefully less people would be attracted to it. It's a horrible drug.

    Yes, he got criticized for revealing something people would rather not see, but also for making it into art.
    His first year's shots were very posed and lit, after that he moved to natural light and a grittier feel.
    Still, he had to deal with a lot of critics.

    Christopher the second one with him biting his nails is a great depiction of what his life must be like.
    I'm always to shy to ask.... Even with a point and shoot.
