I have to agree with Mike on this.

If we happen to be buying some items at Freestyle and would like to sit in on the gathering, would that be ok?

This either sounds like fun or a good time to be out of California!

Where is Freestyle? What City? What type of venue is this, a camera shop?

Here in Houston, I meet with a loose group, Texas Photographic Collectors Association at Professional Camera Repair (4410 Richmond St, Houstn). This is a diverse group shooting in both digital and film from Minox to 8x10 and beyond. The focus of the group is appreciation of old cameras, though many of us are users. We even have a small display area for ~ 20 images in our meeting space.

Formal meetings are each second Tuesday of the month at 10 AM, but most Saturdays find an even looser group meeting for coffee in the front room around 9-ish.

If anyone is in Houston on a Saturday, please drop by and say Hi.

In the words of that great American sporstsman, John McEnroe, "YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS!!":

(Where do you get supplies from anyway?)

Fully appreciating I won't be missed, I guess I won't bother coming if I have to do FaceBook.

I am one of the photographers that officially signed up and will be there. Although it is my first "meeting" I can't imagine a scenario in which anyone present would be turned away.

I get my supplies from Camera Co-Op, 801 Durham St in Houston, where the owner, Chris, and most sales staff know mw by name.

I gather from the link that Freestyle has two brick and morter locations in California. Was out there just before TG holiday. If I am out that way again, I may stop by.

The camera collectors group mentioned above often moves from the coffee-clatch venye to the co-Op to continue the general discussion. 'Yall come bye now-hear?

Not sure why that merits a McEnroe quote in all-caps.
