I found this thread on Photo.net, which seems to cover the question fairly well.
Unless there is a compelling qualitative advantage to the Horseman or other Graflok types, it seems safer to simply insert a back like the Calumet. I get nervous enough handling lenses in the field, never mind taking the groundglass off and on every time I want to take another shot.
