You are one lucky son of a gun!!!
"I would like to see Paris before I die... Philadelphia will do..."
How much gear do you have now Vick? Do you ever have time to shoot anything? What medications/gifts/sweetalk do you give your spouse?
How could it NOT fit, unless you live in a midget's house (isn't it only 4.5 feet tall).
It isn't the gear that sucks my time, it is my two sons, especially the 2 year old.
So, the story behind the enlarger is that over the summer I purged a lot of stuff, including a PCP-80 projector an a Leitz Focomat IIc enlarger. I was not willing to ship the enlarger, so I used kijiji to list the enlarger. So querying what other darkroom stuff was around, I found the L1200 enlarger in Montreal, for pennies.
At the same time, I was still dithering on whether to sell all my 4x5 gear, and thought, well, if I have a 4x5 enlarger, it might help to motivate me to use the 4x5 camera. So I picked up the enlarger, and simultaneously found someone to buy and pick up the Focomat.
Have I shot any 4x5 since summer? No.
I did replace the bellows on my Linhof, after finding pinholes.
Now just find a negative carrier for it.
Then find another and send it to me
Dude, last I heard you owned two Technikas!
Yeah, I had two for a while, but I returned the second one to the store. It ended up in Europe and the needed a bellows replacement immediately.
I'm trying to shoot through a stash of 120 film right now.
