FYI, the last time I asked her about drum scans, she said her scanner was having "issues". Can't remember exactly what, you might want to email her, or call her directly and ask. But I'd not count on her being able to offer scans. Hopefully so, but she has an older Colorgetter scanner, which IIRC, is about the same age, if not older, than your 4500...

Be patient while waiting for reply to any inquiries.
Here in the USA, we are finishing a three (3) day, Labor Day, holiday weekend.
Some folks may not get back to you until Wednesday.

    Re: lab to develop E6

    good note Marc,

However, I'd guess that Rochelle will be back tomorrow, as she processes E-6 orders for numerous surrounding independent photo stores, a good # of professional photographers still shooting film, and Samy's Orange County store(since they're about 1.5mi away). She was(maybe still is) doing Swan Photo's E-6 processing IIRC, but I seem to recall her saying they were looking to re-introduce their own in-house processing, since their mail-order E-6 was getting more business...

Note that one of the chief editors/photographers for Transworld BMX magazine is still shooting FILM for some things(like covers) too

Does Samy's have a price list online? I can't find anything about developing services from their website.

they used to, but they let the site lapse. I was in the Pasadena store the other day, and asked them if they could put a request into the website guy(Samy's is a relatively "small" company vs. B+H for instance) to see if they could put the pricelist online, and make it well known that "SAMY'S DOES PROFESSIONAL FILM PROCESSING!!!" or something like that, and show the pricing and the downloadable order forms(for E-6/B&W/C-41, 35mm-->8x10)

Might take a few of us to convince them . So for all of you who've contacted the Santa Barbara store directly via e-mail, you might want to re-send another email requesting this, it might help keep more film flowing into their lab via mail-order. Just an idea

    here's their e-mail:

FWIW, Samy's used A&I (also LA based), and A&I no longer does E6, therefore...

However, I am taking my single exposed 5X7 sheet of cut–down (from 8X10) Kodak E100VS to Icon LA.
