    Screwed the pooch. Over exposed by 4 stops. Salvaged somewhat in development.

    That could be an embarassing admission to make... but there is a lot of character in your portrait.

    Whole plate on trophy aluminum, Krista. Still frustrated with the unsatisfactory performance of my lighting for interior shots. Compact spiral fluorescent banks with ~3000 watt equivalent still a 30s exposure and 3 full power pops of White Lightning 3200. About to try a loaner set of Speedotron 2400 to see if I can reduce exposure times.

    My brother (and two of the kids are his) demonstrating blacksmith activities at a recent picnic. Speed graphic 4x5 pre-anniversary, meyer trioplan 210mm at about 5.6, tmy2 film in pyrocat-hd.
