I enjoy both mediums, and for work obviously the digital MF is my mainstay.. but for play I really enjoy the tactile approach of large format... and holding a polaroid in the hand is not the same as a digital image... I prefer the pola image I posted of Tori in the May thread, but I like this one too...
I saw other ones too It just seems to be that when you working with LF - you stop controlling things like chopped off limbs and general light direction. I am not sure why, may be its subconcious joy of seeing things on groundglass and general excitement, or may be its hope that film will hold contrast changes better.

PS: I do exactly same , when bringing both LF and RZ67 to shoot, and can do polaroids on 67 just for the hell of it, to engage people in conversations. And then i often do comparition of shots on digital and on film, picking one i like the best for portraits.

What a great, emotional portrait. It seems to tell a story.

It also appears to have very visible grain. How did you get that with a LF original?

I like it a lot, just wondering how it was done. Digital post processing? Some kind of texture mask?
