Brilliant portrait, who cares about the blacks? I often let whites go white or blacks go black... since the digital age people get obsessed with the numbers... I really like this image as it isAlberto Casiraghi, the great poet and printer. 4x5 Polaroid positive in a Gandolfi with a 135mm Sironar.
I just let the blacks go. You can't have your cake and eat it with coater-less polaroid.
Brilliant!I managed to get some unblemished original 8x10 polaroids back from the client's agency. I had only the faulty ones. Here's the english bank manager.

Crown graphic with 203mm f7.7 ektar wide open. Polaroid 59, very expired.
A very emotional -- and , unfortunately, very familiar -- image. I'm near tears with memories I'd rather forget.
