A very nice portrait that exhibits a mood that seems to work very nicely with your choice of model.

I wish I could contribute to the pretty lady side of the thread, but alas... Here's a scan of a print from one of my first paper negatives.

Fantastic James, I love the tonal scale of this image.

I have never done any paper negs, but seeing a number of very nice ones here has peaked my interest.

Thanks! I wish I had tried it sooner. I was worried about the low iso, alleged low contrast, and something new. For the iso, I didn't even meter; the sunny 16 rule was good enough. (And I'd recommend bright, sunny light for this. My exposure was f/8 at 1/8 second.)

In terms of contrast, I'm still printing on Ilford's multigrade RC paper. After a test or two, I bumped the contrast to grade 4 or so. This print wasn't selenium toned, but the ones that I did tone... they were nice. (I did bump the contrast on the scan, so it's probably actually a wash.)

So yeah, give paper negatives a spin. Especially since film is getting spendy
