Tripod Hook and Leg Measurement question

I just got a used Gitzo 505C.

Does anyone know the part number and where I can order the hook that screws underneath, ie, the "hook for weight stabilization"?

Also, this one came with these cool leg measurements on the bottom legs. Same question, where do you get more of those? I would love to apply them to all the legs. thanks.

manfrotto distributes gitzo in the US. call them up, they'll be able to help you out.

It's probably 3/8-16. You can get a hook at a hardware store.

Dude, http://www.gitzo.us. Gitzo is distributed in the USA by Vitec, which also sells Manfrotto (the old Bogen line) and a bunch of other brands. They have a link to contact the service and repair department with a parts finder search function, otherwise you can email or call them up. They are in New Jersey so it's Eastern time. Sorry to be curt but it all seems pretty straight forward and obvious -- if you search for Gitzo parts it's right there.

I'm happy and patient to help answer questions but demanding answers to stuff that is at your fingertips is above and beyond my pay scale, which is zero.
