Thank you, Jonathan. Much appreciated! Yes, I saw that painting recently and it is quite amazing how it is safe for one of the world's finest museums and yet not within "community standards" of most social fora. Go figure. Anyway, thanks again! Ed

Thanks. It's been a fun series that didn't start out as a series. I'm still grabbing weeds from the yard and the neighbors' yards; once you start looking at the geometry of a plant for its silhouette rather than its colors or variegation, everything suddenly looks like a viable subject! I walked the dog the other day and just about every plant or tree I saw had some kind of interesting tendrils or branches. We'll see how many more photos I can eke out before I start repeating myself.

Very nice! They maintain 3-dimensions with contrast and focus.

That was the idea, although at such close focusing distances full DoF would not have been possible anyway. But I'm glad that feeling comes through in the images. The T55 shot was done with the Aero-Ektar stopped down to f/8.

This is the first time I used some Fuji 3000b (I used up my 100b). It's a test shot for an homage to my great-grandparents - I just have to remember and find the other things I was going to put in before I do one on film.

I call this terrible shot,'wrong angle' it was a test for DOF and focus on a $20 Colorpack II Polaroid. I thought nothing of the image until I turned it...
