Vinny Walsh might disagree with you about how strong plywood is. But the short end of things is that the intrepid camera is not innovative just like the travelwide is not, yet with less money, and more parts, they are able to meet their goals, and at the same time offer regular and consistent updates. Neither of those things can be said here.

Anyways, sounds like good news to me! (not the brick field camera!)

I'm not talking about strength, birch plywood is incredibly strong, I'm talking about weight.

Come on Andrew, let's build a brick field camera. It can double as a barbecue.

Double as an underwater LF camera and boat anchor.

Just think, we can erect these things as permanent cameras wherever we find Ansel's tripod holes. That way, we can hike into the woods with just a couple of lenses and a few film holders, leaving room for beer.

My favorite scene in Eiger Sanction is when George Kennedy says "You carried those all the way up here?"

Ben said in the comments on KickStarter:

"It is me, and yes, I did call the shop from Brazil, thanks to T-Mobile! Cheap international calls and free international data roaming—John Legere is a madman out for blood.

In other news, I think we now have a deal ironed out with the shop. At this point, we just need to decide 100% on a cooling time, issue that PO, and order boxes."

Terrific news, getting closer to shipping.

No, they are getting closer to making a desicion on something they were and are not yet able to figure out how to do correctly.

They will be closer to shipping when they put in a PO for shipping cartons.
