That is assuming the cooling time they choose works. Assumptions.

They've been testing helicals, so it comes down to the shop matching the specs of the one they choose.

They also need to send out the survey to backers to confirm current shipping addresses and if they want the parts to configure the cameras to either the 65 or 90 versions. Hope to see that soon in my 'in' box.

Hi all,

Speaking of shipping, I had a thought. Not an original I'll admit, but I'm wondering if they have enough funds to ships the cameras at this point. I know there was talk at one time about kicking in some extra money for tooling cost. Now the purse is even more empty. Shipping 1,500 (light weight)cameras at approximately $10-15 each is twenty grand. I just lost an eye in January due to a retinal tumor and had to come up with $5000 right away for a prosthetic replacement. Had to pinch the budget really hard to find it. I'll bet at this point budget is an unused word for them. Maybe they need a little help?

I'm extra glad the Travelwide has a focal plane focus as my depth perception in the short to medium range is poor right now. Of course, I've already bought a couple of range finders months ago. They are old style with tiny window ports, but I'm ready to shoot some film. The weather is so beautiful here in Arizona it's a shame not to be out shooting. Oh, I guess I shouldn't have mentioned that, sorry. Now where did I my put lens shade?
