Need Ilford Multigrade Head for 4 X 5

Does anybody have one available in good condition or know where I might find one? I have the control box, etc., but no head. Instruction manual would come in handy too! I have shot 2 1/4 for years, just getting into 4 x 5. Thanks!

Put a WTB ad in the For Sale section; you'll have a better chance that way.

    Mike,

The instruction manual for the Multigrade system is available online if you do a search.

Let me know if you can't find one and I'll email it to you.

Thanks Ari - but the rules say I have to wait 30 days cuz I'm a brand new member.

    Mike,

I just spotted a post on another analogue forum where the poster mentions having MG500 heads that will be coming up for sale.

    Worth a try methinks?

    Regards,
    Mike

Before you buy a head, just be sure it has the right plug. There were two versions of the mg500H head...one with a bunch of flat prongs and one round one on the plug that goes to the power source (the newer version) and one that has a bunch of flat prongs (no round prong - earlier version). I imagine spare connectors for these things are pretty much impossible to find, so make sure you get the right one.

    Good Luck
