I love this shot. I did about 100 in that area in 2008 but unfortunately I sold what large format gear I had at the time to pay for the trip, so they're all digital and 35mm I did quite a few night shots in the area, all the while being called a 'dumbass' by my then gf when I returned in the middle of the night (she had a point), until I was stopped one night by MPs who told me they were finding on average 1 body every 2nd night. I decided to stick to parades and such after that. Shooting New Orleans at night was perhaps the single scariest experience I've ever had as a photographer.

Wow!!! Really, really nice. It seems like there's a slight amount of distortion, towards the corners, is that fixable? Either way, beautiful shot.

Yeah John that is really nice. This plus your recent post on the Urban Landscapes thread with the awesome flag has piqued my interest. Do you have a website or online portfolio where one can view your work? From what I have seen I want to see more.

I really like this thread, nothing like throwing up some well crafted images intended for a large wall and limiting them to about 1500 pixels. It's as big a tease as some of those in the nude thread. But these are just plain wonderful, inspiring and cost saving. Now for eighteen sheets I can have a ULF of roughly 12x15".

Bob asked what else can be done with Stitching? Well compatriots think on this two exposure, stitched image...
I did it to save the fleeting moment, but why...

I have to find either one of the individual scans to show off, but hope some will chime in as to why. Actually there are two reasons...
