I just bought a 1/2 dozen holders and they came loaded with a C41 Kodak film, I forget which it was after looking up the notch code. Seems like a 160asa though.

It seems to happen a lot, Mike, but I think it is false economy to use it unless for purely experimental purposes. The last holders I bought came pre-loaded with RoyalX... and a box of 100 sheets with an expiration date of a long, long time ago.
I put it in the trash, just was surprised to see it there.

What if they were shots of Elvis rocking the Sands in Vegas? Or Jimmy Hoffa? Or Bobby Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe getting it on Aruba? Or ...?

I found some film that had images like that, but they were black when I developed them. I sure wish Elvis and Bobby had turned the lights on!
Bobby and Marilyn both died before the C-41 process was introduced ... that might have been some really valuable film!
