Farewell....Cy has been gone for a few months now but I'll never forget him. He was a very special dog.
Touching image. We have all the collars and tags from our dogs that have passed. Our one remaining Cairn Terrier is over fifteen years old and I remind myself that each day is a gift. In fact, I need to make some more photos of her now that she has slowed down enough that I can use the 4x5 on her.

Testing out some new 500W directional hot lights. Well, one light in this case. The trouble is the aerial film is blue sensitive but the lights are tungsten. I doubled the normal exposure time and I think it still could have used more. The daylight EI is 1.5. I suppose that makes the working tungsten EI about 0.5. Yikes. I needed to add some light to the background for better separation, but like I said, this was a test.

Thanks, Tony. Mundanity, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.

P.S. I had to check after I typed it, but mundanity is in fact a word. At least the Internet says so!
