    Drew,

I'm not fishing and nothing to gain except perhaps a volume price break on my own film. And I'm not Keith Canham, but if anyone wants to send me money, that sounds good!

Seriously, interest was expressed so I posted to try and find if there was enough interest to give Jeff Taugner at Badger Graphic a call - and he has done special orders from Fuji before, the 5x7 Provia being an example. There was and here we are.

As far as timing goes, I'm of the opinion that if it's big film, get while the getting's good. And if this order is successful, I see no reason why there couldn't be more.

    Cheers, Steve

notice on the website, etc. Timing is also important. Some of us have just sunk a lot
of money into Kodak special cuts and need to catch our breath, and end-of-the-year
spending might affect others. The exchange rate is also an enormous issue. But something concrete would have to be set up in advance, then posted on several relevant forums.

Yes Steve, Jeff is good at this, and I just made a serious film purchase with him yesterday. And I certainly wasn't critisizing your own effort. I was just suggesting
that if this effort looks feasible, someone like him should formalize it to give it as big
    a footprint as possible.

I believe many of the potential buyers of the Acros in 8x10 also are interested in getting as much of the TXP320 as the budget can take, i know i am so timing for the 8x10 Acros is not the best right now.
Make a run around tax return time and i think there will be a good chance that we can meet the minimum whatever that is.

    Jan,

Me too. But let's see how it works out and what the price is. Tax time is two weeks away depending on how you file, etc. I doubt this is going to go really fast. I would suppose, that if there is enough interest for a volume discount, Jeff will have a week or three to round up orders.

On Tuesday I should hopefully know what that discount would be and the boxes required for it, or if there would even be any discount.

So I'd expect something to "gel" around late January at the earliest.

Thanks to everyone for their interest.

    Cheers, Steve

Depending on price, I'd be in for 40-60 sheets (one to three boxes) of 8x10. If the price is competitive with at least Kodak's TXP nutty prices or lower, I'd do two to three boxes. If higher than that, one box. If as high as the insane Japan Exposures prices, none.
