Taken last month, but I got the film back this month. I need to get the negatives scanned, otherwise I'm stuck just this photo of the contact print:
Taken with a Speed Graphic from the USS Alabama. I did get to look at the negative on a light box. There's so much detail it's unreal. First time seeing any of my LF photos after being developed.
I'd like to see a little more shadow detail if you get around to scanning the negative.
It's unconventional and I like it. First thing I noticed is the worn pistol butts, implying these are not props, but are actually used at some point. The hair color adds a modern touch and some intrigue, as does the shaded eye sockets. The barrels in the background remind me of some of the Margaret Bourke White pipe organ photos. The symmetry is great.
Shot in Illinois last weekend..."Land of....."

Hey Rick, nice tones in this beautiful example of statue figures..
We have a full length statue of Lincoln when he was very young. He has a book in one hand and is wearing no shoes.. Incredible detail ! A must see and shoot If you are ever behind the Indianapolis state house
The statue is about 8-10' tall and is bronz on concrete base and sits on the edge of the courtyard
Many locals don't even know it's there
