Along the French Broad River in Tennessee in the fog one the morning after intense thunderstorms during the night. Peaceful and quiet.

Notes: In the foreground is part of the Canterbury Roller Flour Mills built in the 1870s. On Thursday 17 February 2011 a fire destroyed much of the building. On Tuesday 22 February the site was hit by a 6.3 earthquake. Everything was still apart from the flies. A short while after the site was cleared.
Alas, all my early mornings are devoted to work. It truly is the best time of day for photography and not only for the light. The clear head is important too.
