I don't know if it's due to the Hermagis instead of the 3B but this face seems like it's coming out of the screen, so 3 dimensional...
    Beautiful Alex, another keeper

I am putting the question mark next to the name because I haven't been able to find any info about this lens on the internet. It's got blue lettering on the rim which notes "Leitz Wetzlar f=250mm" and the only other Leitz projection lens that's got the same blue lettering is the Diaron 200mm/f4, so I guess it must be its bigger brother.

Film is Fomapan 100, developed in Rodinal 1:50.

    Beautiful and innovative.

Yesterday in the backyard, late Sunday afternoon. It's cold, it's time for winter coats.

Shot with a Pacemaker Speed Graphic with a 5" Sunray petzval-style lens. The lens was mounted on a foamcore lens board that I made in the morning and has no aperture other than f/2. I used the focal plane shutter on the Speed Graphic at 1/30, captured on Arista EDU Ultra 100 4x5 film and processed in Kodak HC-110 dilution H for 9.5 minutes. The negative was a little thin but usable.

Natural light with a gold reflector placed between the camera and model.

    Thanks.
I am extremely happy with this Hermagis. I have told before, the 3b is a nice lens but also a cult lens. This proves that there are many more good petzvals which can be bought for a 'normal' price
