    Epson 1200 Scanner

    Hi,

I have just received an Epson 1200 scanner. This is really designed for Win 98. I am trying to run it on Win XP, but it will not accept the software. Can anyone suggest how to get it to work?

    Thanks

    Jack

    Jack,

Try the 32 bit version of Vuescan. Also, you might poke around Epson's site for a legacy driver that was updated for Win XP.

    Jack,

Excellent! I had one of these scanners when they were the 'latest and greatest' from Epson. The holder for 4x5 film is very flimsy. I found that I had to carefully tape the edges of the holder down in order to keep the film nice and flat.
