I remember in the 80s when my kids were in school there seemed to be a spate of school pal names that were real cornball. I recall a few actual ones that blew my mind at the time. Jack Bienstock, Rusty Nichols, Stormy Sea and Marsha Mallow. That was in eastern MA.

Generally I don't like using an alias, unless of course the sheriff is looking for me!

    Re: Using psuedonyms

I consider myself both a large format B/W landscape photographer and a portrait photographer, specializing in bikini / fitness / glamour models, since 1985, and have always used my real name. I have shot DVD cover art / posters for production companies that produce and/or re-distribute Cinemax-type material. These were commercial assignments. I do not shoot anything pornographic, but in the context of those jobs I have photographed porn actresses and glamour models in a sexy, R rated look, hundreds of times.

Since the advent of the internet, my name invariably gets linked to that industry, sometimes to my detriment. I am convinced more conservative clients
might shy away from a photographer who has worked with too many girls named Brandy or Amber. But then again, a lot of people are equally intrigued by it.

I really like glamour photography, working with models and make up artists, even spending hours setting up and tweaking lights. It's what I do.

I'm pretty sure I lost a corporate job because they saw some photos they didn't like on my site. But I wasn't marketing to them in the first place....

I ain't putting my porn name here -- those are two questions usually asked as security questions for on-line sites...

Ah, the information that is aggregated from so many sources. Are they watching you? Do they need to see everything you do when you just blab it out there??

Are you paranoid if they are really after you?

I do not know how serious this all really is -- but both those questions are asked for my on-line banking. And both answers could probably be found out with some bit of digging/investigation...but more trouble than it is worth for my meager savings. But why give out the info to the entire web?

PS -- hello, Natasha -- those eyelashes are scary!
