Linhof 5x7 V

Hi

I'm interested if it's possible to use a cam for the rangefinder from a Linhof Technika 4x5 V for the 5x7? Do you know a place in europe where they will make a custom cam for the 5x7. I've already asked Linhof, but they say that they support the 5x7 rangefinder no longer.

I'll call them on monday, but they have told me that they can't do me a cam by email. But I could talk to a service man.

what for cams do you have? What I've heard you don't really need exactly the same lens. So do you might sell them?

You do need the lens the cam was cut for otherwise it will not focus accurately over the entire rnge of the cam. That is why Linhof cuts the cams.

and linhof dosen't cut any cams for the 5x7 anymore. So I think I have to live with that, or does Linhof USA still cut cams?
