Images with wazoo, and not

Instead of throwing yet another sidetrack into another thread, I knew I had to bring this philosophical question here.

You can photoshop the wazoo out of scanned film as well. The answer to the particular age old question you are asking here is "there is no accounting for [Ed.: lack of] taste."

So, which is "better?" Images with wazoo, or no wazoo? How does a wazooful image make you feel? Or would you rather that an image be wazooless? Are images produced by "straight" photography naturally wazooful?

Does manipulation add or subtract wazoo?

Demented minds want to know!

I think you have to remove "wazoo" to get the kind of garish crap John is talking of.

I prefer wazooful images, by that logic.

Now, do HDR (horrible digital rubbish) images have wazoo? I would say not; it has been removed in the quest for dynamic range.

Better than having too many images up the wazoo...

I make straight contact prints, so I have to make sure that the image has all the wazoo possible before tripping the shutter. That's the way I like it, that's the way I roll.
