4x5 scans - who do you recommend?

I need some 4x5 color negative scanning done. I'm interested in recommendations on both flextight and drum scanning but i'm more likely to go with flextight since the quality is sufficient for my needs and the price a bit more attractive.

    thanks,
    matt

Ditto. For Imacon scans try Praus.

What is your approximate location? This is a very international forum.

if you're in NYC, you can use a more local source, and a fellow member here:

Since you live in NYC, why not go somewhere that rents Imacons by the hour like Print Space? You can make raw scans and download the software on your computer to finish the files at home. Making the raw scans involves little more than loading the holder and pressing a button. If you just have a few scans to make then sending them out for drum scans makes sense, but if you will be scanning a large batch, I would rent an imacon.

This guy has been mentioned before with great reviews. $10 Imacon scans are hard to beat.
