I'm interested in constructive opinions on my use of Tri-tone and dodge and burn in photoshop for this image. The cropped one on left is post processed in PS.
Any opinions/suggestions/insights are greatly appreciated.

To my poor eye you have made it pinker softer with less contrast and less texture.
I prefer the one on the right. Although the glare on the handle was nicely handled.
Everything depends on what YOU intended with the post processing?
Oh dear I think I may be getting whats his name disease.
In that case, I like what you have done except for the specular reflection on the knob which on my screen is a larger blown out area on the image on your left
On my moniter the area of the burned out part is larger on the processed print; indeed so is the cresent shape on the left of the knob(only on the processed print) I guess I am suggesting to "history brush" that small area back to the original lower contrast.
A little different... also left the highlight alone.
which one do you like?
I like the one on left better
the original isn't balanced
the 3rd or 2nd version of Right is also not well balanced
needs the heavier shadows for stability and I think it's better more low-key
people are familiar with that doorknob
