    CNN Feature About Film

I thought this short feature video from CNN dealing with film and, at least indirectly, its future might be of interest here.

Thank you, thank you for that! I needed it!
When I was 16 I thought my father the stupidest man in the world; when I reached 21, I was astounded by how much he had learned in just 5 years!

    Go New York!

I can't tell you how many genuine "nice camera!" remarks that spark interesting conversations I get while walking around shooting with -- especially -- my Rollei. Not dead, indeed!

I got a minute in and turned it off because I couldn't stand the 'computer voice'. Having just sat through every minute of 2001: A Space Odyssey, I'm not sure if it's because my 'computer voice' quota has been used up, or if that video is simply annoying.

Skip forward to about 1:45. The annoying computer voice intro doesn't add anything to it.

You missed something that could be inspirational to many digi snapper photogs. Glad to see this story myself

Slightly off-topic, but I have a sneaking suspicion that Hal's eye was a LF lens, something like a plasmat.

    Perhaps the first LF/Digital incarnation?

Wouldn't something in the Biogon clan have been more appropriate?
