Source for 14 by 17 film???

Yes, another project....(or fools errand)....(somebody please stop me).....
I have checked the archives, and came up empty. I am looking for a source for 14 by 17 inch film. Does anyone have an accurate dimension of 14 by 17 film, or a sheet of blown film this size I can use to build a film holder? Does anyone know if the sizes vary from manufacturer to manufacturer?
    Thanks for any info.
    -Brad

    Brian:

14x17 is an ISO size, so specs are out in cyberspace somewhere. The spec was such that Fidelity made 14x17 holders & you could buy them from Calumet...

While the outside dimensions of the older wooden holders sometimes vary, the film did not. Check Alan Brukaker's site for a start:

    Good luck

Brad, I have several sheets of 14x17 .... x-ray film. They are all 13 13/16 x 16 13/16. I believe you will find this is true with regular film but I am not sure as I only have x-ray film.

    Thanks Michael and Jim,
Jim, Do you know of a source for the 14 by 17 x-ray film? Doesn't Ilford offer a bulk purchase of their odd-size films occasionally?
    Thanks,again,
    -Brad

Brad, Ilford takes orders of any quantity for the odd sizes once a year. Usually this happens in late spring. This year's order period is closed - the film is in production now for delivery in September.

Wephota, in Germany. Supposed to be rebranded Efke or Foma (25 and 100ISO). FO 5 is an ortho film.
