    Eastman Commercial Tripod Model B

I'm new to this forum and I have a question about an old tripod that I have. I know it is worth something to somebody so I can't just put it out in the garbage. I got it from my wife's aunt whose husband was an avid "collector" to put it politely. I've had it for at least 20 years and I dragged it to FL with me when I moved from NY.

So, my question is this: Is there any call for these things? Does anyone use this type of tripod anymore?

It is in decent shape and the motor passed the smoke test. It looks like a clock that fires a solenoid every so often and a cam that pushes up a rod. The rubber feet are petrified to a solid. I think it has all the parts. It is heavy.

I have more photos if needed.

    TIA for your help.

    used to own one..it's 'okay'

I think they went with Kodak Commercial 8x10's...they look the same anyway

if I had one of those cameras..it might be cool to have the matching tripod..to sit on in the den anyway
