Another one with the same lens wide open

Your subjects are all at a very similar distance to the camera. To get more bokeh, you have to work with foreground-middleground-background. Leave some space between the people and the hedge.

Edit: OK, now I got it. This is not about bokeh, but about softness. Forget what I wrote...

It's nice to see some of the old structures that remain in the old stomping ground of my youth, North Carolina. Nice shot.

Sam was born cross-eyed at birth, had numerous operations to try to correct the condition with one eye still drifting slightly to the side today.
During the shoot he said it's been one of the few times anyone has actually spoken to him about it as people generally don't want to risk offending him.
It is only a small part of the incredible person who is SAM.

    Absolutely stunning! Welldone Craig!

I really like this. The intensity in his eyes and gaze are moving. And the arm position reveals both strength and guardedness.

I love this one. The composition is perfect; it looks like an equation, whereby the boy gets the gentleman's hat and the gentleman gets the boys shoes, by some function of the cat. Absolutely charming.
