    Jobo 3005/3004

Does anyone have any source for a Jobo 3005 or 3004 drum besides ebay or Craigs list? Does $650 sound about right for this drum?
    Thanks

Sounds about right given the supply/demand situation :-)

They used to sell for about $375 brand new.
Then the price jumped to $525.
    Then they were GONE.

they are not made anymore so, the price is pretty much whatever somebody is willing to pay.

    $650 sounds outrageous...to me....maybe not to others.

Outrageous related to what you would like to sell your photographs for. That maybe if you don't have a processor or are a hobbist. Someone that has a processor and needs one for their business will pay it or settle for a used drum. The price has certainly increased on all the drums. At least for now they can still be purchased new. I bought the 4) of the 3010 drums at a high dealer cost thinking that I could sell them quickly enough at a price which will be below what their final cost settles at. That did not happen and therefore I won't stock anymore Jobo drums based on the demand which I see as not translating to me making a profit here or on Ebay. I however have processors and can eventually use them for my own purposes.

Have you ever done two in the same 25-2800 series drum and had them over lap or scratch one another? I have and it happened infrequently so there is first time for everything. Once I got my 3005 I never wanted to go back.
