Jack, very nice. Looks to be a tough image to make. Very nice framing.

I was in Myken last week, right next to the polar circle. Very small island off the coast of Norway, 6 h by boat from Bodø.
In the restaurant there (Karenstua), a picture from 1910 of the people from the village was hanging. The people were great-grand-fathers of the people still living there. Thought it was a good idea to redo one with the people of today. Of course, on the same spot, with the same rock face as background...
Initially, it was supposed to included only the permanent inhabitants, but then to please all, one shot included everyone present. This is the shot.

Thanks Bobpin!
I save the "tall grass" area for them...
By the way, glad I own one of your prints!
82 years old Laurits, who spent his whole life on Myken. He was the post-man, and still owns the only car on the island. There's only one "road", less than a km long.

Eddie, here it is!
Not so many permanent locals, and a couple did not show up.
Few Icelandic in here, who decided to come when the crisis hit them.
The dynamics of such a small community are very interesting. You need creative people to keep the mood up, especially in the dark and cold winter months.
