Steven's 18" Port-Land @ f/5.6
Again, through the same 18" Port-Land closed down (f/8 or f/11).
Since Ai WeiWei was mentioned earlier in theis thread I thought I'd share this from APE (via New York Times) a few minutes ago.
"Mr. Ai was reached on his cell phone shortly before 12:30 a.m. Thursday. “I’m released, I’m home, I’m fine,” he said in English. “In legal terms, I’m — how do you say — on bail. So I cannot give any interviews. But I’m fine.”

Thanks Christopher, but I missed the focus on this one...
Easier to focus SF lenses wide open, it is more forgiving for the subject and photographer.
True. Viewing this on my phone's browser, it looks like focus is sharper on the nose than the eye. While you feel like you fired and missed, I think the lack of shadow detail adds an air of mystery... like an actor stepping out of the darkness, into the spotlight.
Regardless of focal sharpness, I think this works as a whole.
