There are only three types of mounting flanges; too big, too small and wrong thread!

What kind of film are you using? There is the Denver Digital Imaging Center aka The Slideprinter on Alameda east a block or two from the Cherokee intersection. They do E-6 with dip and dunk and can handle anything up to 8x10. Phone number 303 698 2962.

For other work there is Reed Photo (888 North Federal Blvd, check http://www.reedphoto.com/) and they do C-41 up to 120, E-6 and B&W up to 8x10. Call and check, 303-573-8084 / 800-999-8084. I do not see any indication of film sales on their web site.

Denver Pro Photo (http://www.denverprophoto.com/products.html), on Cherokee just north of Alameda. Their web site says they process up to 4x5 in C-41, b&w, and E-6. I don't think that is true any longer and that C-41 is only for 35mm and 120, but nothing larger.

They sell 4x5 film. I have never seen 8x10, but their web site says they sell it. Phone 303 698 1790.

The other Denver labs that I have used in the past have since disappeared.

dr5 is an option for film development. specializes in b/w reversal, but can develop negs as well.

To add to al's post, the Slideprinter handles 4x5 C-41, but I'm not sure about 8x10.

PHotocraft in Boulder will still take in developing work but they send it to Reed Photo in Denver. I just go straight to Reed now with my 8x10's They have a good website. Never asked about film purchasing since I shoot 8x10 I just order my film all the time (usually through Badger Graphics in WI). There may be another lab that can do 4x5's but Reed's is the only place that can handle my 8x10's.

One more bit, Reed and the Slideprinter are the same company. I use an E-6 process for my 8x10 color transparencies at Reed

Everyone: Thanks for this great info. I will be at rocky Mtn Nat Pk for two weeks and may want to get some of the first week's film processed while I am still there.

I will be using Fuji E-6, Tri-X and T-Max in 4x5. Havent gotten any 8x10 film yet.

Slideprinter uses a dip and dunk system that will handle 8x10. I had confirmed this with them a couple of weeks ago.

I would recommend the Slideprinter. They process E-6 and C-41 up to 8X10 on both I believe.

Reed is the other big lab here.
